BG was safely caught in the trap last night! Fantastic news but we still need funds to help Helen which has been a very expensive rescue! Such great news.

My dear friend, Helen James, who runs a dog rescue in Bulgaria, has found herself in a difficult situation with regards to a dog, BG, who escaped in Germany en route to her adopted home in France. Unfortunately the transport van broke down at a motorway service station and during the noise and chaos she struggled out of her restraints. Helen has undergone a massive search effort involving locals, the police, traps, feeding stations, leaflet printing and distribution and drafting in friends from Germany to help co-ordinate. She has already flown out there for several days and now one of her volunteers is there helping with the search. This has led to considerable costs which are mounting daily. The bill is currently at over £1500 and mounting daily as she is still not caught. Please give whatever you can as she has over 100 dogs currently in her care and will find it difficult to sustain the costs involved. As a committed rescuer she is worried sick as it is with regards to the welfare of BG and helping with the costs will take some of the strain away from an already horrible situation. Thank you.
