This wonderful and noble Man of the Manchester Order had quite a testing time getting home after last weekend's amazing party at Cae Mabon. At the bottom of the treacherously slippy hill of doom, his trusty steedy, a rather battered and wheezy old van that we loved dearly, squeezed out it's last breath. Instead of being able to tootle off on Sunday as planned, he and the fair Maiden Toe, were trapped in the Welsh valley for another night (could have been worse right?) We ate a cold Sunday roast then all went to bed dead early :)

So after waiting for most of the day on Monday for someone with a special tow truck to rescue them,, loooong after everyone else had gone home, these two were dragged to Bangor and found out it was going cost around £1200 to get the engine stripped and rebuilt. So I've set-up this little group just to help them out.

Dan has been working like a crazy person day and night for the past few months to save up, he brought ALL THE DECOR and flowers and benches and tables to the wedding and wouldn't let me pay him - so I guess this is a good way of us doing that and showing our thanks and appreciation. Loren and I will already be giving a chunk so hopefully if we all chuck in a bit it will lessen the financial sting.
