Dear tone freak musicians,

I recently sold my TC Electronic Flashback X4 delay pedal to fund either a Strymon DIG or Flashback Triple Delay. I had also just purchase a Neunaber Immerse Reverberator.

As luck would have it, I found a used Strymon DIG on Marktplaats, a Dutch platform for selling used products. The seller seemed nice and let me have the DIG for a reasonable price (€220). Shortly thereafter, the seller offered a Strymon BigSky, sort of a staple for reverb-loving musicians including myself. So I thought I would return my newly purchased Neunaber Immerse Reverberator to fund it. The seller let me have it for a crazy price (€280) because "just for you". He would send it along with the DIG.

Few days go by, but I hear nothing fromt he seller. I start to wonder if maybe I got scammed so I went on local Facebook groups and a forum (GitaarNet) to warn people about it. Then I quickly found out I indeed got scammed and I pretty much lost the money.

I warned the website (Marktplaats) and declared it with the police, but I doubt anything will come of it.

Out of grief I'm selling the remainder of my rig to fund a Kemper Profiling Amp or a similar all-in-one piece of kit.
