On Monday 18th of December Jay Devour & Wayne Hickman will be doing a Christmas walk around Wolverhampton City Centre with the intention of visiting the homeless and giving them a present.

Everyone deserves a present at Christmas and with your help our project could work.

Why are we doing this?

We are local DJ’s for various venues around Wolverhampton and often see people out sleeping rough or aimlessly wandering around. We are well aware that our project would not solve this issue but we would like to think that our idea would certainly help in making the colder nights not so cold and not having a home that bit easier.

The idea is simple, We would like to put together a number of care packs which would include some simple items such as hats, gloves, drink, toothpaste, deodorant, and other essential items as these are the items that dont seem to get donated, we will also put in a some food & drink.

The items would all be wrapped up and put into a Christmas sack and then handed out around the city centre to the homeless that we come across.

We are appealing to local stores, companies, businesses and residents to help us in this project in donating goods or whatever money they can for the care packages or other items that may be of help.

We've hunted around for cheapest prices and our costings to make 50 care packages come close to £600 so this is our initial target (£650 target allows for justgivings fees), if we don't manage to hit the target we will make as many packages as possible, in the dream situation we exceed the target it means we can help more people or even try supply blankets etc also.

All receipts will be kept as proof & we will upload pictures of the care packages to this page just to show where the money has gone, we will not keep a penny, evey penny will go to this cause, we welcome blanket donations as we havnt budgeted these due to high cost, please dont hesitate to contact us.
