Most of you know that Maria sadly had a stroke on Christmas Eve in 2015 and our little fighter made such progress and eventually was able to return to a new home in October 2016.

Maria is unable to move her body or talk but she can communicate by opening and closing her eye lids, and is fully able to wind people up and spell out some rather choice words!

We recently were informed that Maria is able to get a specially designed armchair that will support Maria and allow her to sit in the living room comfortably with her family and son Kai during the day as she cannot sit in her wheelchair for long periods of time without discomfort so spends a lot of time in her room.

However this is unable to be provided through her medical care so we are looking to raise money in several different upcoming events and hopefully through donations to create a pool of money that will fund the armchair, and there is also a possibility of a new supportive wheelchair that we may be able to purchase. We are constantly trying to find any equipment that will improve Maria's quality of life and any money raised will solely go on providing her with this.
