Weʼve raised £1,302 to help Helene after Christmas Eve Fire

Funded on Wednesday, 24th April 2019

    Story

On Christmas Eve my mother in law, Helene, was rescued from her house by some amazing individuals when a fire started in her home. If these people had not risked their lives to get her out she would not be here. She has been kept in hospital overnight for observation and should be allowed out today, Christmas Day, to her sisters home. She has been left with nothing after the fire, no clothes, no personal documents or bank cards and only has the nightdress she was wearing when she was taken out the house.

We are hoping to raise money for her to be able to replace clothing and to try and help her get rehomed ASAP.

Any amount will be appreciated and will help her start her life from scratch again.

Just again a big thank you to everyone who has donated. Helene is doing well and thanks each and every one of you. As some people will know as well she had her cat Hamish who was in the house and we are glad to say he is also been seen and photographed in a neighbour's garden. A neighbour of Helene's has kindly said he will take Hamish in and feed him until Helene gets another place sorted out. Thank you again for all your help everyone!
