This little cutie was found scared and hungry at our work depot last week. She was kept safe until the local rescue centre could be contacted. With no owner in sight, no microchip and at just only 14 weeks old she has been fostered by one of our kind hearted collegues.

This is when you think there would be a happy ending but unfortunatetly not. It was noticed by Ruby’s new foster mum Pam, as soon as they got home, that Ruby was limping and putting little weight on her leg. She was taken to the vets were she had an x-ray under general anesthetic and the dreadful news was given to Pam that Ruby had a fractured hip and it would require surgery to repair it. Without any hesitation Pam asked the vet to carry out the repair surgery to Ruby immediately.

This has left Pam with a large vets bill. We thought that after her selfless act of wanting to make sure Ruby had a safe home that we could inturn do something to help and by donating a small amount it will contribute to help clearing the bill.
