This is Zac he is a loving, friendly 10yo cat who is very well known for following me around. He escorts me to the shops down the road all the time to make sure he gets his treats and If I have to go into town, he walks me to the bus stop and actually waits at the bus stop for me to return even if it is hours later (not a habit I encourage )This is Zac he is a loving, friendly 10yo cat who is very well known for following me around. He escorts me to the shops down the road all the time to make sure he gets his treats and If I have to go into town, he walks me to the bus stop and actually waits at the bus stop for me to return even if it is hours later (not a habit I encourage! ) He even makes trips to the shop by himself to beg strangers for treats, he is quite the character. Last Saturday he came home looking very sorry for himself and soon it was clear why as he started coughing and choking, heaving looking very distressed. At 1st I thought it was just a hairball and it would pass but it is Tuesday now and he is still choking. He can barely eat or drink without coughing and stretching his neck as if there is something hard stuck there. It is obvious whatever it is isn't going to pass without help. Unfortunately I am on very low income and simply can't afford to get him to a vet let alone afford the travel fare. I have no Idea how much it will cost in vet fees to help him so I've set the bare at £200 as I remember last time he went to the vet I was charged £36 just to look at him! There is no other way I can get him to the vet so I have joined this funding site in the hopes that with the help of kind caring cat lovers, together we can help my precious boy. It is heartbreaking to see him looking so Pained. Every little helps and is highly appreciated! Zac also has his own Facebook group called Zac the Co-op cat so updates will be posted there.
