Nottingham's very own boxing LEGEND Herol "Bomber" Graham is un-deniably one of the greatest British boxers of all time!

Life has certainly thrown its fair share of punches at Herol not only in his boxing career but also in his personal life.

Karen Neville his long term life partner, who has steadfastly supported him through his fight with depression and numerous suicide attempts, is very sadly suffering her own fight with stage three cancer. Unable to cope with the prospect of losing his best friend and main support Herol was admitted to hospital himself earlier this year with another crippling bout of ill mental health.

As Nottingham School of Boxing and Switch Up Ambassador Herol has been dedicated to encouraging the young people we work with to engage in positive activities. He believes that boxing can break down gang mentalities and rivalries.

Now we want to step up and support Bomber in his darkest hour to date. We are raising funds to support Herol and Karen while neither can work to give them the support they desperately need.

We’re hosting a 24 sponsored Skip-a-thon at The Nottingham School of Boxing, starting at 3pm on Saturday 17th March, in a bid to not only raise funds for our hero but also to raising much needed awareness about the effects of ill mental health and what can be done to support boxers and beyond.
