Hi, my name is Holly. I am 15 years old and at DeLisle College, Loughborough. I have been selected to go on a mission to Namibia in 2019. On this trip I will be spending a week aiding and renovating a less fortunate small village school for pupils my own age and younger.

I have to raise £3000 to pay for my place and have been working hard to achieve that. At the Christmas Market we had a very popular tombola as well as selling cones with sweets or dog treats in. There were cakes and samosas too. I even won the best dressed stall award....not bad for a beginner!

I'be also had a couple of discos which my friends have paid to come to.

In addition to this I have been putting aside, half of everything I earn and pocket money. From doing data entry in my dads office to delivering he Shepshed Eye. This money- about £200- was taken when a burgler entered my mums home last week.

I see the fundraising to get me to Namibia as important to my personal development as everything I do and see out there. I will work hard and earn that £200 back and more.
