Weʼve raised £215 to Send a group of children with additional support needs on a life ehancing experience. That will help them lead independent lives.

Story
We are hoping to raise £9000 for 10 pupils with additional support needs from Bucksburn Academy to participate in the TALE (Travel and Life Experience) group. This will provide a life changing experience that will also be a massive stride forward in them achieving independence. This will be a once in a life time opportunity and for many the first experience away from home.
Raising money to travel with the Ocean Youth Trust Scotland , They will be sailing off the West Coast of scotland for a week in May 2018. Whilst away we will be able to track their vessel.
We believe that all young people, regardless of circumstance or ability should have the opportunity to realise their true potential in order for them to live healthy, fulfilling lives – making a positive contribution to their community and to society in general. For many on the trip it will be their first opportunity away. - Ocean Youth Trust Scotland
Over the next coming months we will be fundraising to hopefully achieve our target.
We have already completed a 9mile sponsored walk from Duthie Park along the railway line to Newton Dee and back.

7 years agoFor some Halloween 🎃 fundraising Holly has made “freightfully sweet hampers”- they are now for sale and all the proceeds are going towards the fundraising!! Filled with heaps of delicious goodies! Thank you to everyone that’s places an order!
