On Sunday 4th August,12 volunteers gave over 50 hours of combined time and energy to re-cover Holly Mount Orchard’s greenhouse. Within 3 days, the brand new covering had been slashed and torn by vandals.

After so much volunteer effort on this project - both fundraising for it originally through Bury Council’s ‘The Pitch’, and the effort involved in re-covering itself - we are not ready to give up on this project yet. But we need your help.

Any contribution you can make - no matter how small - will go towards putting right the greenhouse damage, whether that ultimately is a fully replaced cover, or repairs and vandal proofing. Any funds raised beyond the target amount will go towards our ultimate dream: to have the greenhouse fit for purpose and to allow access for local schools.
