The York Room
In these times of cutbacks in Council facilities and provision, the York Room is a precious community space that is provided by Holy Family church for use. Every day of the week, many local groups come into the building for meetings and activities that simply would not be able to happen if it wasn’t for such a facility being available in the heart of our community.
However, like many of us, the York Room is feeling the effects of age! We have been advised that the roof needs completely replacing and unless we can cover the cost of this repair, we will have to close the room until such time as it can be safely used again.
As a church we are doing all we can to ensure the money is found but we will need wider community support to achieve our aim. Will you help?
