I want to raise £250 by December 23rd to help provide 'care packages' to as many homeless people as possible across Kent. As we approach the festive season life gets tougher for people on the streets. Whilst many of us will be looking forward to spending time with loved ones and exchanging gifts, homeless people are left to face longer, colder nights and have to deal with a greater sense of isolation and loneliness. These packages will contain blankets, scarfs, gloves, toiletries (including sanitary products for women), food items and some other items of clothing in a large bag/rucksack. I hope providing these essentials to people will not only help them get through the most difficult months of the year, but also I want them to feel a sense of community and love which EVERYBODY should experience, especially at Christmas. . I plan to start distributing the packages from 20th December up until the New Year.
