Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
8 old men are cycling 270 miles in 2 days from Redditch to Cork in support of North Worcester Autism Parents Support Group.
We have a tough challenge; riding 110 miles from Redditch to Liverpool where an overnight ferry takes us to Dublin in time for a 5am start on Day 2: a 160 mile journey to Cork. It'll be a test for some old legs but more than worth the pain for a great cause.
The Cause: A Support Group, with no direct funding sources, for parents of children diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum conditions..The Group maintains a Facebook group which provides access to information and support to its' 170 members. The Group also meet monthly, in Bromsgrove, giving the opportunity to meet, discuss, offload as desired, and host speakers and presenters to help with guidance, signposting, understanding, inclusion and acceptance.
The 8 pairs of old legs belong to : Ian Strutt, Mark Broadhurst, Jon Hughes, Gary Carter, Carl Reeves, Dan Moorhouse, Matt Burke and Joe Smith. Supported by our 2 drivers: Mandy Strutt and Viki Rose
Really grateful for any donation that will help us achieve our goal.
