My son and I were driving through the countryside, when we saw a little ginger kitten really frightened at the side of the road. Thinking it would be killed by the fast traffic we stopped to catch it and return it to the house where we assumed it had escaped from. When we got out of the car we could hear more cat squeals coming from the hedge. There was another kitten. The lady that owned the property said that they had “just turned up” a few days earlier. Both kittens eyes were oozing and stuck together and one was sneezing. After and hour or so of trying to catch them we finally managed to get them in the car. A neighbour ran down the drive and told us there were three more in his hedge. No one had seen any adult cat around in the week they had just appeared. After about four hours we finally managed to get them all in the car. We took them straight to the vets after hours and they said to come back in the morning for treatment. Thos morning the vet has checked them out, de wormed, de flead, given iv antibiotics to the kitten that has cat flu, and the teo have eye drops for their conjunctivitis.

We are raising this money to cover their vets fees until suitable homes are found for them. At present they are between 5/6 weeks old and before they are rehomes will have theor first set of innoculations.
