Weʼve raised £100 to buy a new bench and plaque for Benjamin

Funded on Monday, 3rd April 2017

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Benjamin Paton died in 2008, aged only 7. He was a friend to all of us in Priorsford Primary, and all of us in the village we lived in. In memory of Benjamin, his parents gifted a bench, and a tree with a plaque to Priorsford. Unfortunately, after years of harsh weather, the bench has collapsed, the tree is wilting, the plaque rotting also.

So, I'm trying to raise some money to get a new bench, a new plaque, and if the tree doesn't take this year, a new tree. I plan to do bakesales in the school, and at other events, but this is here for anyone who would like to donate any money outside of this, for example those who don't live in Peebles, or those who would just like to give a little bit extra.

    Thank you!
