Jacob Jones has been a pupil at the Karen Murillo School of Dance since he was 4 years old. Now 16 years of age Jacob has taken his dancing to the next level and has recently auditioned and been offered a place at Renaissance Art in Leeds. The tuition fees for his placement are £7,000 and we are trying to raise as much money as possible to fund part (or all) of these fees. Jacob's mum, Dara is a single parent with no financial assistance from anyone else. Jacob decided at an early age that he would love to continue his dance journey and has taken part in numerous dance festivals over the years, and has helped teach the younger children (including my own) at his dance school. He has grown in confidence and independence throughout his teenage years and is a very mature hardworking pupil of the Karen Murillo School of Dance, he has very good relationships with all the other students at the dance school and with all the parents. Jacob's passion in life is dance, whether it be solo's, duets or group dances. The guy who held the audition for Jacob at Renaissance Art said after his audition " you gave me goose bumps...you show passion through your dancing and you have nothing left as you put everything into your dances" he was also impressed at how high Jacob's leaps and jumps were...so please if you could find it in your heart to share Jacob's passion and contribute a little to fulfil his dream....
