In October 2016, my colleague's son, Toby Chaplin, was involved in a serious car accident that has left him in a coma. Since then he has received around the clock medical care and attention.

On 20th May I am running the Hackney half marathon #FORTOBY and your donations will assist the home he is currently being cared for in.

Gardens and Jacobs Neuro Centre in Hertfordshire assist recovery wherever possible and specialise in slow stream rehabilitation. Emphasis is placed on maximising each individuals abilities, comfort and quality of life. The Friends of Sawbridgeworth is a charity created by the loved ones of those being cared for by the home

The nature of the accident has left Toby with a long road to recovery ahead of him and he is dependent on the support of medical staff, physiotherapists, speech therapists… the list goes on.
