    Story

I am a 15 year old Youth Downhill Mountain bike racer, I've been on a bike for as long as I can remember and have raced DH over the last 3 years.

Last season I raced the Scottish Downhill Series (SDA) for the first time and after a troublesome start with mechanicals I improved in every race with my best result coming on the infamous Fort William track

I was selected for the SDA Greenpower winter training academy due to the potential seen in my seasons performance (only 12 riders from over 400 selected)
This entails some free training sessions with Dirtschool and the World Cup Rider Ruaridh Cunningham (unfortunately they are 155miles away so more fuel costs!!)

I'm hoping these training sessions set me in good stead for a great 2017 season with many a podium finish.

This year I am also racing the British Downhill Series (BDS) which is a bigger stage for DH racing and hopefully will get me seen by one of the big Teams.

Biking is my passion and my goal is to be selected for one of the World Cup Teams and race the World Cup Circuit

This is where you come in

My parents are amazing and give a lot of time and money to my dream however it would be great if I could assist them with some of the costs for the season

I have 7 races in Scotland and 5 in Wales so mileage from Aberdeenshire is well - LOADS

I'm currently working part time as a kitchen porter to help fund my racing whilst trying to study for my exams!

Check out and like my Facebook page as I will have a few biking items I'll give away for set donations www.facebook.com/jakeebdonracing

Many Many thanks for reading my page

    BDS entry fees £570

Not to mention bike, clothing kit and spares (£5000+)
