Story
My son loves Thailand, he teaches English to young children in schools and summer camps.
He has a great personality, loves animals, children and life in general.
On a visit to Lao to renew his visa 2 days ago he was ran down by a hit and run car and left with life threatening injuries. The paramedics stole his watch and money.
The hospital in Vientiane could not help him so they moved him to Thailand, taking into account he had a bleed on the brain and a suspected broken neck also 6 broken ribs.
When he arrived in Udon Thani they operated immediately to stop the bleed this has left him paralysed down his left side he may possibly never be able walk again.
At the moment he is in a basic government hospital were they will only give him basic treatment, I need to move him to a hospital that specialise brain injury and related conditions, with staff that can speak English and can explain what they are doing.
He is expected to be in hospital for at least a month
Sam has Asperger's Syndrome although he functions quite well with life he is terrified at the moment, he can speak Thai but not the accent for the Esan area.
I am desperate to go to him but I have to keep working so I can pay the hospital bills and save money so I can eventually fly out and bring him home.
So in Thai hospital with no insurance and no money a very poorly boy

Sam and I so so close, not just mum and son but best mates. We holiday together, go boozing together, club together, laugh together, look after sick animals together, adopt Thai street dogs together. There is just the 2 of us. The time we spend together is magic
