We are hoping to raise £1000.00 for the Stiliyan Petrov Foundation. Following Stiliyan Petrov's own battle with leukaemia he established this foundation in order to help combat leukaemia. Around 7,600 people in the UK are diagnosed each year with leukemia and about 2,300 people with acute leukaemia.

Each year the students raise money for a chosen charity and this year the Stiliyan Petrov Foundation was selected. The boys felt that they sincerely wished to support this charity and would be willing to undertake a physically demanding challenge to raise money.

The Stiliyan Petrov Foundation helps fund research at the University College London Hospital and University Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham to develop a cure for leukaemia. The fund also goes into, T-cell development, improved stem cell transplants, reduction in relapses, and support towards family accommodation and nursing units.
