This summer, I will be travelling out to Uganda for nearly 3 weeks to work on a variety of community projects on behalf of a charitable organisation known as KiSS. I will be travelling out as part of a small group known as KiCA (Kiss Community Adventure). Whilst out there, I will be dedicating my time to both community and agricultural projects across two locations in an attempt to improve the quality of life of the communities.

These projects are taking place at two different locations, Hoima and Kasambya. In Hoima, I will be undertaking a community project that includes the installation of a water tank for use by the locals, as well as fence to surround the village to increase the safety of the area. In Kasambya I will be working on an Agricultural project, headlined by the installation of a poultry facility.

I have always been deeply interested in dedicating my time in helping others, so when the opportunity to participate in a charitable trip to Uganda came up – I knew it was something I desperately wanted to do.

I would be very grateful for any donations. The Funds raised will enable me to travel out and stay in Uganda whilst also being used for the purchasing of materials and resources that are to be used in the 2 projects being undertaken.
