Story
Rolla Productions UK
Our target market is music artists and commercial businesses. Primarily the entertainment industry with the content directed at audiences interested in film, music and cinematography.
The problems that we solve:
Artists will be given a platform to demonstrate their talents.
The exposure the artists receive will lead to increased revenues.
Businesses will benefit from the advertising.
We will create international relations with the projects oversees in Italy, America and Taiwan.
We will provide factual and entertaining content to people in the form of music videos, documentaries, adverts and films.
Market needs:
UK films represented 9% of releases in North America.
UK films accounted for 15% of global box office.
The UK has the third largest filmed entertainment market in the world.
47% of people working in the film and video industry are freelance. This will enable us to network with experienced artists and production crews for our own projects.
The problems that we're trying to solve.
We need to raise £6500 to cover the production equipment and editing software costs. We are going live with the website in January so we can begin working full-time for Rolla Productions UK. Until then we are working for the company evenings and weekends and keeping our living costs to a bare minimum until we have grown enough to leave our jobs.
We will then build Rolla Productions 12 hours a day 351 days a year (2 weeks holiday over Christmas).
We are asking for £1000 to help with the costs of camera equipment.
Equipment costs:
Apple iMac with Retina 5k £1599
Canon 70D with 18 -55mm lens £722
Canon EOS 5D Mark III Body £2,604.99
Adobe Creative Package for editing £548.78
Additional camera lenses £900
Tripods £200
