Story
Michael Conlon was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS) in August 2010 and since then has seen his condition deteriorate, to the point where he needs to use a mobility scooter outside the house and struggles to walk up or down the stairs at home or play with his young children.
Desperate to at least stop the disease in its tracks, the 39-year-old is raising money to pay for specialist treatment abroad which could lead to him living a full & mobile life with his children for years to come. The treatment & associated travel costs in the region of £50,000, and Michael has so far raised over £10,000.
James is a friend of Michael's and god father to Michael's younger son, Joseph. James is fat, and moves very little, unless it is to the fridge for beer or food. James will soon start intensive training to prepare for an attempt in 16 weeks time (9th July 2017), to run the Virgin Westminister 10k in less than 60 minutes.
James & Michael need your help urgently. Please give generously and get them over the line.
