The start line is getting closer, an update from Jimmy: “I’m starting to feel a little nervous now, I was given my race number (49814) on Wednesday so it is feeling like it’s getting real! Just 27 days to go! Emerging from lockdown for the re-arranged event Jimmy gives an update... "It was hard to take last year hearing that the event had been postponed after starting my training and I probably 'enjoyed' lockdown a bit too much. But I'm back on it now and regularly doing 11 miles in training but plan to take this up to 16 miles in the next couple of weeks. It's a really big commitment and i've got some friends and family who want to go down to London to support me, so no pressure there! I'm hoping to post a sub 4hr 30min time"

A huge thank you to Leanne Carey who has transferred her magnificent fundraising total to Jimmy's cause after picking up an injury in her efforts to run the Manchester Marathon for the clubs Development Fund.
