Hi welcome to my crowdfunding page, I'm trying to raise money to help a very good friend of mine and her family with the cost of accommodation while her brother is critically ill in Harefield hospital.

James last Thursday (20th April) under went a 3 part heart surgery including a aneurysm repair, root repair and valve replacement. Following this 10.5 hour operation James since has faced some set backs. On Friday 21st April James then had to have a stent fitted, this was to open up the coronary artery to release the blood clot. Saturday the 22nd April he then had to be placed on a mechanical heart machine, to try and stabilise him. Then came Sunday 23rd April come more complications when his heart arrested which lead to a heart by pass operation. Monday James then had around 36 hours of being stable. As i type this (Tuesday 25th April) James is currently under going more surgery to cauterise a bleed around the heart.

Tori (sister), mum (Louise) and brother in law (Jamie) have been by his side the whole time.The family has had many messages of support and people offering to help in any way they can. These messages of support have really kept them going at this difficult time knowing every one is behind them.

As you can imagine the cost to stay close by to James while he is on life support is around £100 per night. They are a self employed family and James is going to need there help every step of the way. If we could raise some money to help with this, i think it would take the financial stress off the family too as you can imagine its going to build up while he fights these complications.
