LIFE HAS ITS UPS AND DOWNS

THE UP's

Yesturday we moved a family, a family that did not ask for much even though they had very little. We noticed items that they did not ask for but knew they needed like a fridge, washing machine, cooker. The family were over the moon and tried to give money to the volunteers. We explained that a donation of £20 was all they had to donate and that was if they wanted. So we told the family to use the money they were trying to give to buy something nice. Just to see the thankfulness and releif on their faces was enough reward that we needed knowing it was a new life for them and knowing we had been in this place thats what makes the difference for us and thats why we all volunteer to do this. Not for the thanks. We do this because we know the struggle we had when we were here in the past so to know that we are saving a family from the torture thats what fills our hearts and thats why we volunteer

THE DOWN's

Here is the worst part the charity has very little money in the bank infact we have about £1,000 so were trying really hard to budget this but at the same time still helping families. We are trying to book a stall at every event we see or apply for every grant we can. WE DON'T WANT TGE CHARITY TO END. All of you give us items to help the families and i go and do this.Please please help me to keep this charity going without money it cant run.
