Hi I'm Jason,

I was previously the manager of Wellington House, a Home Group temporary homeless service in Kettering. In October I will be running the Great Eastern Run to raise funds for their welfare account.

Wellington House is a 21 bedded unit which homes vulnerable people aged 16+ across Kettering. The welfare account is an emergency fund which supports our clients when they come to our service with nothing, but is also used to help current clients to move forward independantly. We use it for such things as food, utlities, clothing, identification, travel for support sessions and housing deposits; to allow our clients to move forward and find permanent accomodation, relieving their homelessness and encouraging independence.

All donations are greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference to the vulnerable adults and young people we support.
