Note: This is my fundraising page under my father's account due to my age and commitment to my GCSE exams.

After my GCSE exams, I have a while before I continue my education.

Rather than sitting around at home I'd prefer to go and make some difference while exploring some other countries. At the same time I plan support other deaf children who may be more disadvantaged, will you please be generous and help achieve my ambition?

VoluntEars is a registered charity that offers the opportunity for me to visit Sri Lanka and Nepal with other like minded people, we would renovate schools for the Deaf in these countries and meet the deaf students which would be a fascinating experience for me. Sampling the culture from the countries will be a rewarding motivation and a . rich experience for my future.

The cost breakdown is as follows:

Application via VoluntEars for Sri Lanka & Nepal: £2,460.50, Flights: around £1,100 for the two countries, Visa for Nepal: $30, Insurance: around £80 = £3,670.50 (My parents are kindly paying for all my other costs).

Your kind donation will help me to cover travel costs, accommodation and food while I am working there. I am more willing to do tasks to raise towards my target amount but they cannot interfere with my GCSE studies. Any money raised above my target will go directly to the charity and deaf schools as we need more materials and education tools for them.

On top of this, my nice sister has pledged to cut off her hair and donate them to Little Princess Trust when £1500 has been raised. I'll have to repay her for this huge favour!
