Hi, this is Megan she is 9 yrs old and she has a dream. 3 years ago we were introduced to our local taekwondo club via a freind and since starting Megan has discovered a dream to hopefully one day join the GB Taekwondo team and get to the Olympics.
She trains 3 nights a week and keeps a diary of every training session. In her first year she gained a coaches award for her efforts and this year has just been awarded the clubs award for Student of the Year. Megan started competing last year and won 2 out of her 3 fights. This year she is being a little more ambitious and wants to do more. She also attends seminars by Olympic and world renown athletes to gain knowledge and experience. As most parents I want to give her the opportunity to live the dream. So am trying to raise some funds towards the cost of Megan's entry fees and also any extra funds will be given to the club in order to buy better equipment.
