    Story

For the last 8 months I have walked passed a man sleeping rough on the Muswell Hill section of the parkland walk. I have talked to him on and off to see how he is doing however he is very quiet and private and say's he his fine every time. My next route was to contact Street Link which is a service that connects rough sleepers with local services. They emailed me back saying they have talked to him but he refused any help.
I understand that he obviously rather stay as he is, which is fine, however in these freezing temperatures I find it so hard to just keep walking by him, as i'm sure everyone who walks on this stretch of the parkland walk.

So my thoughts was to raise enough money to buy him a top of the range sleeping bag that would keep him warm.

How totally wonderful that more money has come in today. Thank you so much to all you lovely people from locals to old friends from further away. I have now requested to close the page as more than enough money has been raised. The goods are arriving tomorrow and so I will go see him on Friday morning. I will keep you posted on how it goes.

Totally amazing guys, thank you we've reached the target and more. I've bought a great sub zero sleeping bag, thermal sleeping mat and a waterproof bag for storage. I'm thinking of giving it to him anonymously as I pass him sleeping every morning, however there is exsess money now, please any thoughts, just gift him the money? Message me xxxx
