My son arrived at 27weeks and 2days into my 40 week pregnancy and has been fighting since day one. We spent 82 days in the neo natal unit at north tees hospital and the care we received (not just our son) was amazing! They paid for our petrol, parking and provided food vouchers so that everyday we didnt have to worry about basic finances of having a baby in special care. Im running the great north run to give back to the unit to help buy new equipment and help families who fiind themselves in the same situation we did.
