In 2015 I was 27.4 stone and was eating and drinking myself to death.My doctor said I needed a operation on my back but I was to big for the operation.
My doctor suggested to go to the obese clinic and either go for the gastric bypass or band. But before I do that try slimming world first which I have never done before,I have tried every other diet and never lost this much weight in my life.
When I was losing my weight I noticed my excess skin was getting looser and even exercise wasnt doing it as I am 45 years of age and my skin as lost some of its elasticity.
A couple of months ago I spoke to my doctor and she suggested I apply for funding to the NHS for my skin removal.
I did and they turned me down because it wasnt clinical and no exceptional circumstances.
Even though in just over 2 years I have lost 11.5 stone and I have done it all on my own.
I feel more concious now of my body than I did when I was at my heaviest.
This is my last chance to get a body I can be proud of at last.
