Since I was a child I have taken part in fundraising for charities that help children who need it. I always dreamed of going out to help...now my dream is coming true.

In the summer I will be heading to Uganda with a group of other teachers to train teachers that work there who have little or no training.

LRTT supports teachers across the Bwindi region of southwest Uganda. Many of the teachers we train teach classes of 60+ children with only a chalkboard. In classrooms like these, making sure every child is learning is a real challenge and innovative approaches can make a real difference.

I will be volunteering for the summer to help train these teachers. I am really looking forward to this exciting challenge.
