The reason i am trying to raise this money is because I'd love to do a garden makeover for my disabled daughter, Jessica. She is 12 years old and she is currently the only child with her condition, she has a mosaic duplication of chromosome 1q31 where one of her chromosomes are split into 3 instead of 2, meaning she is unable to talk, she has trouble walking without support long distance meaning she has to use a wheelchair. docters are unsure of her life expectancy so i really want to get this done for her, Even though she is 12 she has a mental age of a younger child. The front garden is on a slant and Jessica becomes very unsteady walking up to the grass to play on it, so she doesnt like going in the front garden, however the back garden is not slanted at all, she used to love sitting on the patio, until the big wind storm ripped up the patio making it unsafe for her, and a few years ago i became a single mum I couldnt find the time or spare money to fix it as well as looking after her as she requires 24/7 care. Basically what i would love is some decking, so she can sit on there with a table and some chairs so she would feel so much better walking on. This would definitely make her come out the house more in this lovely weather.
