Charlie has downs.. heart problems, hearing and eyesight issues! He also has sleep issues and causes Charlie to wake most nights... he is on melatonin but as most know this only aids drifting off to sleep not sleeping all night! Charlie will go to sleep between 8-9 but then wakes between 11-12 and then he will stay up for hours... this wouldn't be a problem if he had his own bedroom but he shares with his brothers and although the bedroom is an adequate size he wakes them up as he can be quite noisy and just wants to play! His paediatric doctor has said provide him in a safe environment and leave him be.. but we haven't got the room. We would love to extend the house to make an extra bedroom for Charlie with his own toilet and bathroom as this is what he really needs.
