As you may have heard. On Saturday evening my dear friends Hayley Sibley & Denis Killens van was torched. Not only is their van their livelyhood the fire was lit right outside their home with children inside so could have been much, much worse.

Thankfully for them and their friends and family they "only" lost their van. However because at this time there is no evidence to prove who started the fire they are liable to pay a hefty insurance excess. Without any means currently to get to and from work.

I know its an expensive time of year for everyone. But they have now got to find money for insurance excess as well as pay for Christmas. All while playing the waiting game with the police and insurance company.

I know Brightlingsea has a wonderful community spirit. Lets show this hard working family how much ! That the few that think its ok to vandlaise what people work hard for that its not ok.
