Story
In April 2016 Lee Wright, one of our airport operations assistants, suffered a major stroke while in work. He is continuing to require assistance in getting out and about.
He would really like an electric scooter to enable him to maintain his independence. Liverpool John Lennon Airport has kindly made a donation of £1500 towards the scooter but more money is required for Lee to get the scooter that meets his requirements.
I am asking that you make any donation towards helping Lee get the scooter. For those who prefer, cash can be handed to any Airfield Safety Officer who will ensure it gets added to the total.

7 years agoI am sat with Lee right now and he would like me to pass on his thanks to all who have donated to his scooter. He is absolutely overwhelmed by all the support from you all. Can't wait to get his hands on his scooter and he wants to come and visit when he gets wheels!

Lee recently moved into a more permanent accommodation and as it looks like you are going to smash the original target anything over and above the £500 raised will go towards additional assistance items and anything else he needs to make him as comfortable as possible in his new home
