Story
Connective Golf is an events group established by 6 Northumbria University students; Ben Addison, Angus Gillespie-Payne, Dave Barron, Scott Blain, Kevin Carney and Joe Walsh, who are in partnership with Rookie Golf. Our event aims to bring 2 generations together and connect them as one. In order to achieve this, our event will be held on the 5th April, inviting both the old and the young. There will be a series of mini golf tasks to complete by every individual of each team. The teams will be mixed with old and young in order to attempt to successfully achieve our aim of combining 2 generations for the greater good of the sport and community.
As we are all Northumbria University sports students, as part of one of our modules, Sport Event Management, we are required to plan, run and evaluate a sporting event, all of which is done ourselves. However, in order for this to be completed, we require funding which helps towards paying for the facility, equipment, refreshments and travel, which are all essential to hosting an event. All donations made will not only help our event, but help our events team towards gaining success within the module.
We appreciate all donations made towards our event, however big or small, and would like to thank every person donating for helping us towards achieving our goals.
