Hi my name is Joe, I'm a Barnstaple lad who since a very young age has aspired to become an Equine Vet. I have already gained a degree in Equine & Veterinary Biosciences and am absolutely delighted to have been offered a coveted place at Edinburgh University on their Graduate Entry Accelerated Veterinary Medicine Course (Four Years) starting in August 2022.

As this is considered my second degree I will receive NO government funding from student finance in the form of a student loan and have to therefore completely self fund in order to pay my tuition fees of £34,995 per annum. My dream would be to qualify as an Equine Vet and return to North Devon, an area I love and where my family are, which is very important to me. My family are very supportive of me but are not in a position to support me financially.

My family and I are organising many local fundraising events and I am saving hard by working three part-time jobs but I realise that we will not be able to raise the full amount by ourselves. I would therefore really appreciate it if you could help me on my way to realise my dream and make a donation however large or small to my Justgiving page.
