On friday our world fell apart, We found out that our dad not only had cancer but that it was untreatable.

Around 3/4 years ago he was told he has cirrhosis of the liver due to his diabetes which was also untreatable, but some hope shined through when they said he could go to Birmingham and have a liver transplant. This would of seen him rid of liver disease and then he could live a normal life once again.

Last week we received that letter to go for tests and to see the main doctor at Birmingham about the transplant finally things were happening, Then mid week we were asked to meet with the consultants at Derby to discuss things. Thinking we were on the road to Birmingham you can imagine how much of a shock it was to be told he now has cancer and there’s nothing that can be done.
