Jon and Natalia got married last year and have been living in Odessa, Ukraine which is Natalia's hometown. Natalia is 7 months pregnant which means that they are soon to be expecting a new member of the family to join them and their dog, Daisy.

The devastating invasion on Ukraine by Russia has meant that Jon and Natalia have sadly had to flee their home because it is no longer safe to stay there. They have come to the UK where Jon's family are based. Embarking on this unsafe journey has meant that Natalia has had to leave her family in Ukraine which is a terrifying and upsetting thing to have to do in these uncertain times. As well as this, they were only able to bring a very limited amount of belongings with them which means that they have unfortunately had to leave a lot of essential baby things behind.

They made the long journey from Odessa to the Polish border where they waited for hours before they were able to enter Poland. Once in Poland, they then got faced with the issue of being able to bring their family dog, Daisy into the UK. They managed to get her onto a flight into England, but were sadly stopped at border control. They have been told that Daisy must now enter a 4 month long quarantine in which they will not be able to visit her or have any contact with her. Daisy is only young and this will most likely be a very traumatic experience for her. On top of this, the quarantine fee is upwards of £2,500.

Unfortunately, Jon and Natalia's money is all stuck in Ukraine as banks there have had to close and they are unable to access any of their funds. They are looking for any help available to be able to fund Daisy's quarantine fee, purchase essential items for their new born baby, and for general living fees.
