Over the last two years I've embarked on a challenge to run 100 official marathons to coincide with the RAF centenary whilst raising money for the RAF Benevolent Fund and the Poppy Appeal. I successfully completed my challenge on the 1st April 2018 in the process raising £5000 for charity.

When I started the challenge, I set myself 4 goals:

1. Run 100 official marathons to coincide with the RAF centenary.

2. Run a sub 3 marathon.

3. Inspire others to run.

4. Run John O Groats to Lands End.

I have achieved the first 3 and now I am looking to fulfil my last goal.

In March 2019, ultra running limited will be hosting a race running from John O Groats to Lands End (JOGLE) . This is the perfect opportunity for me to fulfil me dream.

So far through out my challenge I've funding everything myself from entry fees, travel, kit etc which has come at a cost I can no longer maintain.

To get a place into the JOGLE, I need to raise £2250 for the entry fee. As part of me running JOGLE I want to raise money for two causes. I would like to raise money towards a AED for the Elgin Parkrun. Then the RAF Benevolent Fund will be celebrating their 100th Anniversary in 2019. I want to continue supporting a charity that is close to my heart. The JOGLE race will be held over the RAF Benevolent Fund 100th anniversary, so it would be a great opportunity to reach out to past and current serving personal.

I've set a target of £5000 including the Entry fee. Whatever money I raise will be split equally between the entry fee, the AED and the RAF Benevolent Fund.
