    Story

The #YELLOWTEAM are raising money for the HEARTLINK Children's Charity whilst also improving our own health by doing a 8 week strict weight loss and fitness programme, looking to loose as much possible weight in 8 weeks!

We are doing this as HEARTLINK support so many families in Leicester and other cities including some of our own and without them our time with ill children would have been alot more stressful.
HEARTLINK is an amazing charity that offers support for the whole family of children who suffer from heart defects.
They do this by providing a number of services in and out of hospital that make these stressful times as comfortable and fun for everyone.
-Heartlink provides accommodation for the whole family at The Glenfield Hospital Leicester so parents can be close to their children when they are going through major surgery without worrying about seeing their other children (as they can stay with them)
    - Heartlink provides games rooms for children of all ages to help make their hospital stay as fun as possible
    - They hold coffee mornings in the hospital so parents can unwind and get support and have a chat with people going through the same thing
-They provide all children with a teddy on admission to the ward, giving them a companion for their stay and after
-They provide days out throughout the year for the whole family such as Twin lakes and Teddy Bears Picnic
-They have a caravan on Butlins so families can get away for a cheaper price (suggested donations)

HEARTLINK runs on donations and without all of this these families would be under alot more strain and stress in what is already a hard ordeal to be going through.

PLEASE SPONSOR AND HELP US GIVE SOMETHING BACK TO HEARTLINK!

    Thankyou from us all!

A cause very close to my heart. My daughter was born with 2 holes in her heart, glenfield operated on her to close the holes. And now she's about to turn 12, and only needs a check up every 3 years.
