Myself and Kieran are doing the Edinburgh half marathon to raise money & awareness for the Simpsons Special Care Babies charity an amazing charity close to our hearts. We are so grateful for everything they have done for us at such a difficult time in our lives, Joseph was taken to the NNU for 8 days after being born. He was given the best care and support possible by staff who worked very hard to be by his side at all times. Seeing our brave baby boy grow stronger has been a true blessing, we hope to raise us much as we can for such an amazing charity. They have life saving equipment and provide the best of care to families and babies. A babies chances of survival is dependent on a number of things; having access to up to date medical and nursing care, as well as the love and support of family and friends. We also hope this helps put pressure on the government to provide better facilities and funding for the unit. Thank you, we hope you can help us!
