My only son Josh was born with skeletal abnormalities which has always affected his walking ability from the age of 9mths old he has under gone major surgery and procedures to try and rectify his condition which unfortunately have not been successful. Sees the liver and directly enters the general circulation this results in the liver not getting a chance to clean or filter the blood which has resulted in him having a blood disorder an enlarged spleen and a systolic murmur to his heart Josh has very lethargic symptoms and has to remain in bed most days as he also has sleep apnoea just recently he has now been diagnosed with fluid on his spine and now has posteral tremors. A self propelled wheelchair would increase his independence and would enable him to access social activities more with his family.
