Weʼve raised £300 to remember Judy Jones through donations rather than flowers.

Story
On Thursday 12th April 2018, our much loved mother, sister, nan, nannie, auntie, teacher, colleague and friend was finally taken from us after a long struggle with COPD.
She requested no flowers (other than from family), so we have decided to set up this donations page.
She loved to regularly visit her favourite primate 'friend' at Colchester zoo - Rajang the orangutan, and as a result we feel (as she did) that money normally spent on flowers, which die once picked, would be better used as donations. Once collected, the funds will be used to support her old friend Rajang, and Monkey World (www.monkeyworld.org/) in Dorset to support the amazing work they do in the rescue and rehabilitation of primates.

5 years agoThanks to all the wonderful friends and family who have helped to raise so much in memory of our wonderful Mum. It seems sad but somewhat poignant that her favourite friend at Colchester zoo Rajang also passed away in December 😢. The money donated will be sent to Monkeyworld in Dorset to help their work in the wild, and a paving slab memorial laid there. Thanks again from her family x
