Last year our whole family was rocked by the news that my sister, Sophie, had been diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 26.

Despite the feeling of shock, worry and heart break, Sophie stayed strong. She never moaned or complained, she got up for the fight and carried on!

In November of last year we got the news we were all praying for, Sophies treatment had finished and she is now in remission! Sophie’s strength in the face of adversity was inspiring and this has led myself, bith my sisters boyfriends rob and Kieran and my friend Craig to do something to raise money for the people who made Sophie’s journey to recovery that little bit easier.

Judy beard were a warm and comforting face who also had the answers during a daunting time for Sophie. That’s why we will be raising money for the Judy Beard unit. Any donations will help the unit and make it that little bit easier for the present and future fights against cancer.
