My son moved over to Cambodia early last year to work. On 5th March this year he started a new job. On the 8th March he turned up for work as normal to be met by the police who arrested all employees on fraud charges. Unbeknown to him, the company he started working for 3 days prior was fraudulent. He was immediately sent to prison with no court case or hearing to plead his innocence.

We have contacted the British Embassy who send someone to see him about once a week. Due to long queues they don't always get to see him. When they do they just say there is nothing they can do!

We have appointed a lawyer who is working alongside Tom and his girlfriend, but he has to be paid upfront, and also for the court fees.

Tom's girlfriend, visits him daily, sometimes twice and takes him food as he only gets two bowls of rice a day. Conditions breach all human rights and his mental state is not good.

Please if you can give something to help us to get my son out then it would be greatly appreciated.
